Elizabeth and Kirk are a fun, Harry Potter and Green Lantern-loving couple who got rain on both their engagement session AND their wedding day (what are the odds?!). Even so they made the best of a wet situation with good natured laughs, ice cream and lots and lots of umbrellas and galoshes. Splashes of their personality could be found in the details. The boutonnieres were made from Green Lantern comics, the bouquet from pages from Winnie the Pooh and the cake paid homage to Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter and the Kingkiller chronicles. I was seriously geeking out. If I could go back and do my wedding over again I would definitely be stealing some of these ideas! The ceremony and reception were held at Riverside by Clore Brothers. The ladies over at Occasions by M&K kept the night running smoothly, while Jerry from Dynamite DJ's Kept the party hopping.
